Overview
The Corporate Benefits Specialist supports the administration and compliance of various employee benefit programs, collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and employees to ensure smooth operations and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day operations of employee benefit programs including Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental, COBRA, HSA, FSA, and 401(k).
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues related to benefit plans.
- Cook with vendors and carriers to ensure accurate and timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, and plan documents (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
- Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for audits and reporting.
- Aid in preparing required filings and disclosures.
- Identify opportunities to streamline benefit processes and improve employee experience.
- Support system updates, testing, and data integrity efforts.
- Collaborate with HRIS and Payroll teams to ensure accurate data flow.
- Operationalize new benefit programs and enhancements aligned with business goals.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to wellbeing and total rewards.
- Provide feedback and insights to support program design and implementation.
- Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed.
- Support annual renewals and open enrollment activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits administration or a related HR function.
Pay
The starting base pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34 per hour. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
