Corporate Banking, Vice President - Aerospace & Defense

At this level, you are not just supporting client relationships, you are shaping them. As a Vice President on Citi's Aerospace & Defense Corporate Banking team, you'll advise industry leaders on multi-billion dollar capital raises, hedging strategies, and global treasury solutions, while actively driving revenue and efficiently deploying Citi's balance sheet. Your client universe spans the full breadth of the A&D landscape: from legacy defense primes to rocket companies that are redefining what is possible in transportation and space. These are some of the most dynamic, high-stakes businesses in the global economy, and you will be helping finance their next chapter. This is a front-office, high-growth coverage role with a trajectory cleared for launch. Responsibilities
- Advise clients on accessing debt and equity capital markets, developing hedging strategies, and optimizing their global cash management
- Drive revenue by strategically deploying Citi's full product suite while managing risk and capital with discipline
- Partner with Senior Bankers as a relationship anchor for top-tier A&D clients
- Lead Analyst and Associates to produce high-quality strategic and financial analyses drawing on public filings, research, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts
- Own the market intelligence function — staying sharp on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging best practices
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of corporate banking or investment banking experience
- Deep understanding of the Corporate Banking business, its products, and the lending and credit approval process
- Polished and confident written and verbal communication skills
- Strong capabilities in planning, negotiation, analysis, and organizational leadership
- Strong credit, corporate finance, accounting, and capital markets knowledge
- Proven experience working with large corporate clients across capital markets, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade finance, and securities
- Series 63, Series 79, and SIE licenses required
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience
Pay
Full-time salary range: $200,000.00 - $225,000.00. The hourly rate corresponding to the annual range is $96.15 - $108.17. In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
