Fifth Third Bank · Detroit, MI · 1 mo ago

We need to output HTML fragment with sections: headings

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "DOING THE RIGHT THING" maybe considered boilerplate? It's a values statement; might be considered part of description but not required? It's not a standard section; we could include as part of "About the role" maybe. But we need to decide. We need to parse the posting. Content: - Intro: "Make banking a Fifth Third better® We connect great people to great opportunities. Are you ready to take the next step? Discover a career in banking at Fifth Third Bank." This is about the role/company. Could be "About the role" or "About Fifth Third". We'll put under

About the role

with a paragraph. - Then "Your Responsibilities" followed by bullet list (actually sentences). We'll create
  • for each responsibility. - Then "Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission." This could be part of responsibilities or separate; but we can include as a li. - Then "Minimum Requirements" with bullet list. - Then "Required Skills" bullet list. - Then "Skills For Success" bullet list (maybe combine with Required Skills? But they are separate headings in posting. We could treat as "Skills" section combining both. However rule: prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. Could combine Required Skills and Skills For Success into a single Skills section. But we need to preserve all info; we can merge. - Then "DOING THE RIGHT THING:" paragraph about values. Could be part of About the role or separate "Company Values". Not a standard heading; we could include as a paragraph under About the role. - Then "Corporate Banking Analyst- Multinational Banking At Fifth Third, we understand the importance of recognizing our employees for the role they play in improving the lives of our customers, communities and each other. Our Total Rewards include comprehensive benefits and differentiated compensation offerings to give each employee the opportunity to be their best every day. The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance. Our extensive benefits programs are designed to support the individual needs of our employees and their families, encompassing physical, financial, emotional and social well-being. You can learn more about those programs on our 53.com Careers page at: https://www.53.com/content/fifth-third/en/careers/benefits.html or by consulting with your talent acquisition partner." This includes benefits and compensation info. We need to create Benefits and Pay sections if there is real specific content. There is mention of base salary reflective of range, incentive compensation, benefits programs. Not specific numbers. The rule: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Here they do state that base salary is reflective of range, incentive compensation, benefits programs. That's somewhat vague but still states existence of benefits and compensation. It's not a specific number but it's stating that there is a base salary range and benefits. Is that considered filler? It says "The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location." That's basically saying salary varies, not specific. Might be considered placeholder. However they also mention incentive compensation plan and benefits programs. The rule says never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state them, albeit generically. I'd argue we can include a Benefits section summarizing the benefits description, and a Pay section mentioning base salary range and incentive compensation. But we must avoid filler like "varies". The sentence includes "will vary". That's maybe considered filler. However we could still include the section but rephrase to avoid placeholder? We must not invent or summarize away detail. We must preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we cannot remove the variability statement; we must keep it. If we include a Pay section, we must include that sentence exactly (or paraphrased but preserving meaning). The rule says do NOT emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD"). So if we include a Pay heading, the content under it must not be just filler like "varies". But the content includes more than just "varies": it mentions base salary reflective of range, incentive compensation plan. That's substantive. However the phrase "Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as..." is still somewhat generic but it's detail. I think it's acceptable to include Pay section. Similarly Benefits: they describe benefits programs encompassing physical, financial, emotional and social well-being, and link to page. That's substantive. Schedule: not mentioned. So we omit Schedule. Now we need to remove boilerplate: "Attention search firms and staffing agencies: do not submit unsolicited resumes for this posting. Fifth Third does not accept resumes from any agency that does not have an active agreement with Fifth Third. Any unsolicited resumes – no matter how they are submitted – will be considered the property of Fifth Third and Fifth Third will not be responsible for any associated fee." That's application instructions/agency warning; remove. Also EEO statement: "Fifth Third Bank, National Association is proud to have an engaged and inclusive culture and to promote and ensure equal employment opportunity in all employment decisions regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, military status, veteran status or any other legally protected status." That's EEO boilerplate; remove. Also "LOCATION -- Detroit, Michigan 48226" - location is substantive; we could include as a paragraph maybe under About the role or separate? Not a standard heading; we could include as a paragraph under About the role. Now we need to decide sections. Potential sections: - About the role (intro + location + values) - Responsibilities - Requirements (maybe combine Minimum Requirements and Required Skills and Skills For Success into Requirements? But we have separate headings: Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. The posting has Minimum Requirements, Required Skills, Skills For Success. We could map Minimum Requirements to Requirements, Required Skills and Skills For Success to Skills. Or we could have Requirements and Skills sections. The instruction: use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have Requirements and Skills. Qualifications maybe not needed if not distinct. We'll include Requirements (minimum requirements) and Skills (combining Required Skills and Skills For Success). We'll avoid duplication. Thus:
