Corporate Audit is a global team responsible for providing independent assessments of business activities throughout Bank of America. The mission of Corporate Audit is to effectively and efficiently support the company’s risk governance framework by determining whether controlling processes and controls over strategic, credit, market, liquidity, operational, compliance and reputational risks are adequately designed and functioning effectively. In that regard, Corporate Audit activities are designed to provide reasonable assurance that: Resources and assets are adequately protected. Significant financial, managerial and operating information is complete, accurate and reliable. Employee actions are compliant with Bank of America policies, standards, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
