Corporate Attorney

About the role

Cozen O’Connor is seeking an attorney with extensive private equity and private real‑estate investment fund formation experience to join the Corporate Practice Group in the Philadelphia or New York office.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of experience assisting clients in all aspects of fund formation, private placements, and securities regulation (including the Securities Act of 1933, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and Investment Company Act of 1940).
• Represented venture capitalists, private equity firms, hedge‑fund managers, and family offices in a range of transactions.
• Experience with all aspects of investment‑fund structuring, including fund terms and conditions, investor negotiations, and day‑to‑day fund operations (preferred).
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Admission to the relevant state bar.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $300,000 to $345,000. This range reflects the firm’s good‑faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting and may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
