About the role
Ashurst Perkins Coie, one of Fortune’s Best Places to Work, is seeking a mid-level Corporate associate in their Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of transactional experience, particularly with sophisticated LLCs and private corporations, private company M&A, and various commercial arrangements. The candidate should also have experience with strategic transactions and financings for companies at all stages of the growth cycle in a broad range of industries, as well as general corporate representation including complex commercial contracting and corporate governance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and lead complex business transactions and financings for companies at all stages of the growth cycle in a variety of industries.
- Provide legal advice and counsel on complex commercial contracts and corporate governance issues.
- Collaborate with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters at a national level.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of transactional experience, preferably in corporate law.
- Experience with sophisticated LLCs and private corporations, private company M&A, and a variety of commercial arrangements.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and complex commercial contracting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Washington State.
- Excellent academic record.
