Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related M&A transaction documents
- Prepare and negotiate governing documents, including bylaws, operating agreements, and partnership agreements
- Manage core aspects of transactions with increasing independence
- Cook up and oversee due diligence processes
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys
- Work directly with private equity funds, independent sponsors, portfolio companies, and founder-owned businesses
What We’re Looking For
- 3–4 years of experience handling M&A and corporate transactions within a law firm
- Experience representing private equity funds, sponsors, portfolio companies, or founder-led businesses
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage deal processes and collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Admission to the Colorado Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)
- A JD is required, along with prior experience working in a law firm
