Corporate and Finance, Tax Associate, Mid-Level

About the role

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader's Boston office is seeking a highly motivated mid-level transactional tax associate to join its dynamic and growing tax practice. Ideal candidates will have transactional tax experience from a large law firm, a Big Four national tax practice or the IRS National Office.

Responsibilities

• Work on a broad range of sophisticated corporate, partnership, and international tax matters arising in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other complex transactions, including both domestic and cross-border matters.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the tax aspects of M&A, joint venture and other transactional documents.

Requirements

• Outstanding analytical, research and writing skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence and client service.
• A minimum of three years of relevant transactional tax experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• A minimum of a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• A current active license to practice law in the United States.

Pay

The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $390,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time.
