Corporate Accounting Manager
Job Summary
The Accounting Manager oversees daily accounting functions, maintains accurate financial records, ensures compliance with financial regulations, and supports the CFO with financial reporting.
Responsibilities
General Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the CFO and leadership team.
- Assist the CFO with daily cash flow analysis and bank reconciliation.
- Evaluate and recommend financial software and process improvements.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Supervise the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reimbursements.
- Maintain accounts receivable collections and assist in cash flow management.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.
- Assist in audits, collaborating closely with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements in collaboration with external tax professionals.
Budgeting & Forecasting Support:
- Assist the CFO in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making.
- Support department heads in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Team Management & Development:
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accurate work and professional growth.
- Provide training and guidance on accounting policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Cost Accounting.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience working with Tribally owned businesses.
CPA Certification.
