Corporate Accounting Manager

About the Role

We are a multi-location CPG manufacturer with serious expansion plans, seeking an Accounting Manager to own the routine general ledger and month-end close processes. This role will manage cost accounting, supervise Staff and Senior Accountants, and help build the accounting infrastructure needed for a fast-growing, multi-client operation. As the company scales rapidly, you will play a meaningful role in developing the accounting organization to support that growth, with a pathway into broader accounting leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close, general ledger, and intercompany balance sheet reconciliations.
• Implement and document GAAP controls, driving process improvements in financial reporting, cost accounting, and operational support.
• Lead and develop the Accounting team’s skills, encouraging cross-training and automation.
• Oversee inventory, cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits.
• Prepare, review, and present customer profitability analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Operations on yield, waste, and standard vs. actual cost variances.

Requirements

• CPA or public company experience with exposure to product manufacturing/distribution.
• Knowledge of full financial statements, cost accounting, inventory management, and cloud-based ERP systems.
• Experience mentoring staff and building processes during times of ambiguity.
• Comfort with embracing technology and new systems.
• Enjoys process design and is not simply maintaining the status quo.

Pay

Base compensation of $125,000–$140,000 plus bonus.

This is an onsite role located in the East San Fernando Valley.
