Description

The Waldinger Corporation, a respected leader in construction and MEP services since 1906, is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their team. This role offers a broad range of financial skills and career growth opportunities.

About the role

This position provides hands-on experience in various accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, and tax. It also includes budget preparation, expenditure tracking, variance analysis, and financial closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy of financial records, ensuring precision, completeness, and compliance.
• Flex across functions, supporting AR, AP, payroll, treasury, and tax processes based on business needs.
• Partner on budgeting, assisting with budget prep, tracking expenditures, and analyzing variances.
• Support compliance and audits, maintaining strong internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
• Drive the financial close, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules to close the books accurately and on time.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A detail-oriented mindset and a drive to keep learning.
• No travel required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
