Corporate Accountant

About the Role

A leading private equity management firm is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its US finance team, supporting day-to-day finance operations and collaborating across various teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and records for the management company
• Handle cash management and treasury functions, including preparation and approval of wires, bank account monitoring, and bank reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and vendor relationships
• Support tax and regulatory compliance, including 1099 preparation
• Serve as audit liaison, providing deal fee estimates and journal entry support
• Manage portfolio company billing
• Coordinate daily across internal teams and external parties
• Support junior accountant development
• Build and maintain templates, SOPs, and process automation

Requirements

• Corporate accounting experience at a private equity fund or similar asset management firm preferred
• Experience with Financial Force or other ERPs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a collaborative environment

Pay

Salary: $100,000 – $125,000
