Corporate Accountant

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close procedures including booking journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Prepare a variety of accounting statements such as working papers, schedules, exhibits, or summaries to provide business information to management and field personnel.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documents to audit teams as requested.
• Communicate with supervisors, managers, field staff, and other business, corporate, accounting, and finance staff to obtain and exchange information.
• Perform planning, primarily regarding individual workload to meet deadlines and business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred) or finance required; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience preferred, but may consider recent college graduates.
• Knowledge of accounting journal entries and how entries impact financial statements.
• Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge or ability to learn SAP and company accounting software.
