Corporate Account Director
About the role
Strong seller responsible for supporting the Sr. Director in developing relationships and driving business for accounts in seller's assigned segment. Motivated self starter able to drive day to day sales activity for portfolio of accounts. Key responsibilities will include planning and execution of sales strategies leading to higher consideration and win rates across the customer base. A Director within the Major segment must be driven to hunt for business and drive growth across the account base within their dedicated industry. Seller should be adaptable and productive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
What you'll do
- Sales Execution: Develop and execute strategic account plans for large corporate accounts. This includes setting specific time-bound business goals, identifying potential areas of opportunity, and developing an action plan to drive sales activity.
- Actively increase Wyndham's account footprint with large, high opportunity corporate accounts.
- Understands Wyndham's chain scales, properties and quality levels to ensure customer / property fit.
- Partnerships & Collaboration: Partner with Sales Ops, Sales Development and Specialist to drive sales execution.
- Facilitate collaboration across internal Wyndham teams (legal, distribution, revenue management, marketing, sales strategy, and operations) to drive successful sales outcomes with larger corporate accounts.
- Customer Enablement: Actively measures customer development against stated goals and objectives.
- Serve as a key point of contact for managing the day to day needs of key large corporate account customers in partnership with internal Wyndham teams.
- Budget Management: Ensure account revenue meets or exceeds sales goals.
- Manage assigned segment expenses and budget in partnership with Senior Director.
You'll be successful if you have
- Solution Selling: Expert understanding of Wyndham strengths and offerings; ability to articulate the vision from customer perspective.
- Sell value and align and motivate Wyndham and large corporate account personnel to drive win-win solutions.
- Coordinate with properties to ensure their customers are getting timely responses to rate inquiries, RFPs, and questions/issues.
- A self-starter, exhibiting initiative, confidence, professionalism, and good judgement; results-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Business Acumen: Familiarity and knowledge of large commercial entities (high employee and revenue size), properties, and market.
- Advanced understanding of assigned Corporate accounts' business models.
- Ability to review market conditions and advise customers of opportunities and collaborate on a strategy/ sales development plans.
- Analytical skills to understand reports and trends.
- Understanding of metrics and goals and how to create reporting to gage success of projects.
- Technical Acumen: Broad knowledge of hospitality and cross-industry corporate dynamics.
- Ability to effectively lead complex sales cycles end-to-end.
- Strong technical skills including the usage of Salesforce.com, CVENT and Microsoft office.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum 6 years previous working experience, including at least 3 years sales experience.
- Experience handling a $10M+ quota target.
- Solution selling skills.
- Experience with account plans and sales forecasting.
- Proficiently in CRM, CVENT, Microsoft Office, Salesforce and other industry-specific sales tools.
Pay
$105,000–$120,000 annually, plus eligibility for an incentive payment pursuant to the Global Sales Incentive Plan with a 25% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
