Position Overview

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center is seeking an Ophthalmologist specializing in corneal/refractive surgery. This position offers direct patient care and supervision across multiple outpatient settings including the Main Campus, Richmond V.A. Medical Center, and suburban ASC locations.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology, with Corneal subspecialty training
• Eligibility for, or a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills required
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a diverse population
