Corn Maze Staff (SEASONAL)

Seasonal position from September 25th to November 1st.

About the role

Corn Maze staff work independently and as a team to assist the Corn Maze Manager in providing logistical oversight of participants, maze attractions, and facilities, while ensuring the safety of all participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist Corn Maze managers in monitoring all maze attractions, restrooms, and common areas for functionality and cleanliness.
• Sell tickets and merchandise.
• Drive hayride tractors (training provided onsite).
• Assist in all opening and closing duties.
• Support volunteers as needed, including running corn cannons, monitoring slides, selling pumpkins, assisting with concessions, collecting corn, and trash detail.
• Ensure the safety of all participants, employees, and volunteers throughout the Corn Maze.
• Provide quality services to all guests through participation in the agency’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process.
• Demonstrate competence and responsiveness to cultural differences among customers and employees.

Requirements

• Must be available to work each weekend (Friday evening – Sunday) from September 25 to November 1. Weekday shifts may be available based on private or corporate event rentals.
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience driving a tractor is desired.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, and drug test.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk indoors and outdoors for the duration of shifts, up to 12 hours.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Reports to: Eliada Development Coordinator. On-site training provided.
