About the role

Operate radiology equipment, perform diagnostic and therapeutic exams, and assist in complex procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiography studies following protocols for high-quality imaging.
  • Assist in invasive OR and Hybrid procedures while maintaining sterile fields.
  • Practice radiation safety and ensure equipment is well-maintained.
  • Prepare examinations for interpretation, accurately input data, and manage PACs and RIS systems.
  • Provide supervision and instruction to students and collaborate effectively within the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an AMA-approved radiology program.
  • Registered with ARRT, holding a CT license, and CPR certification if required.
  • Preferred: at least one year of experience and an associate degree in a related field.

Skills & Abilities

  • Operate radiology and OR equipment, monitor patient flow, and ensure safety standards.
  • Effective communication with patients and staff, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to react calmly in emergencies and perform basic life support.

Additional Information

  • May require rotating weekends/holidays, covering additional offices, and physical lifting or walking.
  • Adhere to OSHA, TJC standards, and maintain continuing education credits.
