Copywriter

We are looking for a Copywriter to create short, engaging, and on-brand content that connects with guests across digital and omni-channel touchpoints. In this role, you’ll help bring a beauty-focused brand voice to life through clear, compelling copy that reflects current trends, culture, and the guest experience. Responsibilities Write and refine copy that reflects brand voice, tone, and standards across a variety of channelsAdapt messaging for different audiences and platforms while keeping the guest experience consistentContribute ideas during editorial brainstorms and offer recommendations to improve copy cohesionBalance multiple projects at once and deliver quality work on tight deadlinesPartner with design teammates to help ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly togetherStay current on beauty, lifestyle, culture, design trends, and other editorial influencesSupport changing business needs with flexibility, responsiveness, and attention to detailResearch information independently and know when to ask for guidance Skills 1–3 years of copywriting experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to write concise, engaging, and audience-aware copyExcellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detailAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrategic, creative, and critical thinking skillsSelf-starter with a motivated and action-oriented approachComfort working with GenAI tools Preferred Skills Experience in agency, beauty, retail, or editorial environmentsFamiliarity with creating copy for digital and omni-channel experiencesStrong creative problem-solving abilitiesInterest in beauty products, guest experience, and evolving consumer trendsAbility to collaborate closely with cross-functional creative partners Horizontal is committed to building an inclusive workplace where different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences are valued.
