About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. They manage inventory, monitor safety, and train the team.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Meet targets and help departments achieve their goals
- Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory, daily maintenance, cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety, and security
- Train the team
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Qualifications
Applicants should have a valid drivers license with reliable transportation and be 18 years or older. No previous leadership experience is required, but it is preferred.
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing situations is important.
