Mother Plumber is a newly formed, privately-held plumbing company built on the acquisition of an existing, trusted, and established service plumbing company in Bloomington, Indiana. We are entering an exciting phase of growth — expanding our operational footprint into Indianapolis while strengthening our leadership position in Bloomington. The Opportunity: We're opening our first Indianapolis location and building the team from the ground up — apprentices learning the trade, journeymen running their own calls, and master plumbers ready to lead. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues: leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures, and sewer/drain lines.
• Perform installations for repiping, remodels, new construction, and multifamily properties, as your license level allows.
• Communicate clearly and honestly with customers about the problem, the options, and the cost — no upselling, no surprises.
• Maintain your service vehicle, tools, and required stock so you're ready for the day's calls.
• Complete accurate job documentation, estimates, and invoices using our field service software.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to cover after‑hours emergency service.
• Follow all local and state plumbing codes and safety requirements on every job.

Requirements

• Apprentice: willingness to learn, reliable transportation, and enrollment in (or willingness to enroll in) an approved apprenticeship program.
• Journeyman: current Indiana Journeyman Plumber license and at least 2 years of hands‑on service/repair experience.
• Master / Licensed Service Plumber: current Indiana Master Plumber license (or Journeyman license with the experience to sit for it), with 5+ years of service, repair, and installation experience.

Qualifications

Strong customer‑service instincts — comfortable being the face of Mother Plumber in someone's home or business.

Valid driver's license and a clean‑enough driving record to be covered under our vehicle insurance.
