Responsibilities

• Absorb and provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide assistance with transfers and ambulation using proper safety techniques
• Support residents with meals, including setup, feeding assistance as needed, and monitoring intake
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing or supervisory staff
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
• Documentation & Communication
• Accurately document care services provided
• Communicate effectively with residents, and team members
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home health
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist with resident transfers
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
