We are looking for bartenders or mixologists who love getting creative with unique ingredients and perfecting every pour. Whether you prefer wine, beer, or cocktails, you’ll keep our guests refreshed and coming back for more.

The Bartolotta Restaurants is a nationally recognized, family-run restaurant and catering organization co-founded by restaurateur Joe Bartolotta and two-time James Beard Award-winning Chef Paul Bartolotta. Responsibilities

• Receive orders from patrons or waitstaff.
• Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Prepare fruit and other garnishes ahead of bar opening.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing bar spaces.
• Attractively display glasses, liquor, and other bar items.
• Collect payments for drinks served.
• Verify legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
• Use judgment to refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and presentation skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly or argumentative patrons.
• Ability to learn Point of Sale systems and software.

Qualifications

• Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or related training required.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
• Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time.

Pay

$35–$45 per hour.
