Copy Editor
About the role
Careerscape is seeking a detail-obsessed Copy Editor to polish content across a range of projects — fully remote. You'll be the final set of eyes that makes writing clear, correct, and consistent before it publishes.
Compensation
$50,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience.
What you'll do
- Edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity
- Ensure consistency with style guides and brand voice
- Fact-check and verify sources
- Collaborate with writers on revisions
- Proofread final drafts before publication
- Manage multiple projects against deadlines
What we're looking for
- Excellent command of English grammar and style
- Sharp attention to detail and strong proofreading
- Familiarity with AP, Chicago, or similar style guides
- Comfort with word processing and content management tools
- 1–3 years of editing or related experience
Nice to have
- Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
- Experience editing digital or marketing content
