Duties & Responsibilities
- Creating and running functional test cases manually on web & desktop applications.
- Creating and testing bugs as needed.
- Writing clear and concise test cases.
- Runnig Test Plans, including Regression testing.
- Attending and sharing QA status in daily stand-up meetings with team.
- Onsite testing of software with medical physical devices.
- Performing other QA related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ace (AA) or higher degree (Computer Science or Biomedical Engineering preferred), 1-2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Detail oriented.
- Basic knowledge of computers, software, hardware and networking.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office products.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with command line tools.
- Good communication; Listening, obtaining clarification, writing clearly & informatively.
- Prioritization of work activities, using time efficiently, following directions.
- Adapting to changes in the work environment (such as priorities).
- Basic knowledge of SDLC.
- Nice to have: Certifications, automation or coding experience, Azure DevOps, Agile, Scrum, Confluence, simple SQL queries, healthcare.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Ability to commute to the office 5 days a week.
- Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 6-8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and/or move at least 10 pounds.
- Frequently remain in a stationary position throughout the day.
- Occasionally moving about inside and/or outside the premises.
- Working in an active collaborative environment.
