About the Role
This position will assist the head men’s basketball coach with management, operations and recruiting for the men’s basketball program.
Responsibilities
- Assist with team practice planning, game strategy and player development.
- Assist with travel logistics.
- Assist preparing scout material and conducting scout meetings.
- Assist recruiting the best athletes within institution, conference and NCAA guidelines.
- Be aware and maintain a safe and healthy environment for the student-athlete.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and guidelines regarding Division I basketball recruiting and coaching
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2 years coaching experience
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Division I coaching experience
