Copier Service Technician

About the role

At DEX Imaging, we are the nation’s largest independent provider of office technology. We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician who’s part problem-solver, part tech whisperer, and all-around customer service hero.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair office technology equipment including copiers, printers, and multifunction devices
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service calls
• Install and configure equipment at customer locations
• Provide excellent customer support during onsite visits
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate updates clearly
• Manage assigned territory and service schedule efficiently

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Basic computer and networking knowledge is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Qualifications

• Experience in copier/printer repair, automotive technician work, appliance repair, cable or satellite installation, HVAC or electrical work, IT or networking support, or military technical experience is a plus
