About the role

Are you good with your hands? Do you take pride in a job well done? Do you know what needs fixing? Real Property Management has the perfect position for you as a Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for providing a great resident experience by keeping the property looking good and functioning well. This could include pools, landscaping, exercise equipment, appliances, heating and cooling systems, garage doors, and lighting (just to name a few). Additionally, individual apartments will need repairs, painting, and cleaning between tenants and during residency. You will ensure the property is sparkling.

As a Real Property Management employee, you are part of a collaborative team. You will manage work orders efficiently, promptly, and respectfully. You’ll apply your skills in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Our goal is to build relationships, not just "tenants and toilets." We want our residents to love where they live and our owners to love their investment. This means we need team members who take pride in their work and customer service.

  • Customer Service – As a front-line service team member, take pride in your appearance and interactions with residents. A smile is part of the uniform.
  • Identify Improvements – When visiting a property for a work order, look for other elements that could be improved. This helps residents love where they live and provides insight into property maintenance that helps owners enhance their property.

Requirements

  • Experience in maintenance and/or a trade (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Digital literacy and ability to use a smartphone.

Qualifications

  • You are punctual and honest.
  • Familiarity with maintenance and/or trade work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.) is a plus.
