About the role

Real Property Management seeks a Maintenance Technician to provide a great resident experience, keeping the property looking and functioning well. This may include pools, landscaping, exercise equipment, appliances, heating and cooling systems, garage doors, and lighting, as well as individual apartment repairs, painting, and cleaning between tenants and during occupancy. The role requires pride in work and customer service.

Location: 1213 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343, United States

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, light landscaping, light appliance installation/maintenance, trash/large item removal, pool maintenance, and more.
• Provide front‑line customer service; maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with residents (a smile is part of the uniform).
• Identify improvement opportunities during work orders to enhance resident satisfaction and provide owners with insights for property upgrades.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance and/or a trade (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Digital literacy and ability to use a smartphone.

Skills

• Enjoys doing work well and working with hands.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Patient with customers and team members, willing to explain things in understandable terms.
• Punctual and honest.
• Familiarity with maintenance or trade work is a plus.
