About the role

IFS, a subsidiary of KBS and the largest private provider of facility services in North America, is seeking a Zone Cleaning Manager for an immediate full-time opportunity. This role offers a flexible schedule and leadership opportunities within a dynamic, growing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage client and vendor relationships for assigned accounts within the zone
• Conduct monthly/quarterly visits with district and regional client management to ensure satisfaction and relationship health
• Visit accounts as prescribed in the portfolio, review and/or complete audits, and submit them
• Ensure buildings are adequately stocked and equipped
• Maintain response to service calls, emails, or inquiries within 2 hours
• Create and maintain delivery plans, and source and schedule vendors
• Submit project dates to headquarters by the required date
• Provide backup crew work in emergency situations
• Manage in unionized environments

Requirements

• 3 years of management experience preferred, with 3 years in the cleaning, maintenance/building services, exterior services, or restaurant industry
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of all compliance standards (OSHA, state/federal, and IFS)
• Experience maintaining or supporting staffing levels in support of defined budgets, crews, and client relationships
• Ability to analyze area profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure expenses are within budget
• Ability to understand project management and project planning, while communicating changes and progress
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with each client and ensure the best service levels per contract
• Ability to manage the employment lifecycle of staff: hiring, training, performance management, including disciplinary actions and terminations
• Background check and drug test required
