About the role

IFS, the union subsidiary of KBS (the largest private provider of facility services in North America), offers an immediate full-time opportunity to join our Cleaning Services team as a Zone Cleaning Manager. Responsibilities

• Manage client and vendor relationships for assigned accounts within the zone
• Conduct monthly/quarterly visits with district and regional client management to ensure satisfaction and relationship health
• Visit accounts as prescribed in the portfolio, review and/or complete audits, and submit them
• Ensure buildings are properly stocked and equipped while maintaining response to service calls, emails, or inquiries within 2 hours
• Create and maintain delivery plans, as well as source and schedule vendors
• Submit project dates to headquarters by the required date
• Provide backup crew work in emergency situations
• Management experience in unionized environments

Requirements

• 3 years of management experience preferred, with 3 years in a cleaning, maintenance/building services, exterior services, or restaurant industry
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of all compliance standards (OSHA, state/federal, and IFS)
• Experience in maintaining or supporting staffing levels in support of defined budgets, crews, and client relationships
• Ability to analyze area profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure expenses are within budget
• Ability to understand project management and related project planning while communicating any changes and progress
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with each client and ensure the best service levels in accordance with the contract
• Ability to manage the employee lifecycle: hire, train, manage performance including disciplinary actions and terminations
• Background check and drug test required
