About the Role
The VIP Salon Coordinator supports Table Games operations in the High Limit Salons by assisting with pit marker issuance and buyback, entering manual guest ratings, processing Venetian Rewards sign-ups and reprints, and providing system expertise during ACSC downtimes. All duties adhere to departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of all operating systems and equipment.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Internal Controls, MICS, and Nevada Gaming Regulations, including those from the Nevada Gaming Control Board, IRS, and Title 31.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and casino data.
- Enforce laws and regulations pertaining to underage gambling, ensuring minors are not allowed to gamble.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and supplied workstation.
- Handle supplies safely, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Supervisor or delegated authority.
- Prioritize safety as an essential function of the role.
- Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain valid Nevada Gaming Registration and any other required certification or license.
- 1 year of experience; previous clerk and/or casino cage experience preferred.
Skills
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills and data entry.
- Ability to process and compile data according to established guidelines.
- Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift or carry 10 pounds unassisted.
- Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to interact effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts.
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling.
- Work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Work indoors with exposure to environmental factors such as CRT screens, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
