Coordinator - Wyandotte & Brownstown Patient Registration - Full-Time - Midnights

Position Overview

Under minimal supervision, directs and coordinates the activities of all Patient Registration areas to provide prompt and accurate scheduling and registration of patients, insurance verification, billing, collections, cash posting, and payer compliance. Protects the integrity of the hospital accounts receivable and respects the privacy of patients.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience related to patient admitting, registration and/or insurance eligibility and verification in a hospital or medical office setting required.
