About the role
The Transplant Coordinator is responsible for managing the transplant process from referral through discharge, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care and support throughout their journey.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire transplant process, from patient referral to discharge, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with medical teams to provide comprehensive care plans and support for transplant recipients.
- Coordinate with insurance providers, financial counselors, and social workers to ensure patients have access to necessary resources.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding pre-transplant, post-transplant, and long-term follow-up care.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of transplant cases to regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- At least 3 years of experience in transplant nursing or related healthcare field.
- Experience with medical coding and reimbursement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical knowledge of transplant procedures and protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of health insurance regulations and reimbursement policies.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
