Job Summary and Qualifications

The Coordinator Therapist acts as a crucial bridge between patients, clinical staff, and facility management to ensure individualized patient treatment plans are successfully executed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Requires a Bachelor's Degree (Masfer’s preferred) in Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field.
• Licensure/Certification: State licensure (e.g., Licensed Mental Health Professional or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist).
• Experience: Previous experience in a hospital, inpatient psychiatric, or healthcare case management setting is strongly preferred.

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Offering a full range of services. We are home to the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast. Lawnwood Hospital provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery. Other hospital services include labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services.
