Coordinator, Specialty Care
About the role
The Specialty Care Coordinator supports clinical leadership and the care team in patient care activities by providing technical & logistical support within the IKC lane. The role serves as a subject matter expert for resource navigation and onboarding/training needs.
Responsibilities
- Schedules & facilitates patient case reviews; Distributes patient list for review and recommendations to the care team after reviews.
- Serves as a subject matter advisor to peers related to navigating eligible health plan programs and resources.
- Supports quality improvement activities through gathering, tracking, and reporting data as directed by the manager/supervisor and ROM lead.
- Supports onboarding and training activities in conjunction with clinical support CSM.
Qualifications
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- At least 2 years of experience in a medical/health-related office with healthcare insurance billing experience.
- Able to work autonomously with minimum supervision.
- Able to effectively navigate the EMR system without supervision.

Pay
The Wage Range for the role is $19.29 - $21.00/hour.
