Coordinator, Shipping & Receiving Clerk (2nd Shift)
About the role
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk (S/R) at DSV is responsible for carrying out customer service activities, generating paperwork, and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include handling customer orders, coordinating special requests, and ensuring timely and accurate document completion.
Responsibilities
- Generate all related paperwork and necessary information for customer orders, checking for special requests and shipping paperwork.
- Prioritize customer orders according to scheduled pick-up times or pier cutoffs.
- Furnish shipping and tracking information as required.
- Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Report customer feedback to management, including signs of customer dissatisfaction.
- Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain corresponding files.
- Operate the computer terminal proficiently, entering and verifying data regarding customer orders, shipments, receipts, adjustments, etc., in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure the accuracy of all receiving and shipping documents.
- Avoid discrepancies and collect all documentation for inbound freight, routing it to the proper record-keeping unit.
- Comply with all DSV Work Instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including backup support as needed.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and a strong attention to detail. Previous customer service experience, especially in a warehouse setting, is preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suites.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in unregulated temperatures.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Pay
The expected base pay range for this position is $XX-$YY per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
Schedule
This role is available on a full-time basis, with second shift hours.
