Coordinator - Senior Revenue Cycle

About the role

The Senior Revenue Cycle Coordinator will play a crucial role in improving the hospital and professional receivable collections, enhancing the patient experience, and ensuring compliant billing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and complete assessments to implement process improvements.
• Create, coordinate, deliver, and maintain successful education programs for Avita’s Revenue Cycle teams.
• Act as a primary liaison with IT and revenue cycle vendors.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Epic functionality.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years hospital or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Epic Trainer – required within 1 year of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Certification (CHFP, CRCR, CPC).
• Formal classroom teaching experience with adult learners.
• Proven success in developing curricula and training resources.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Previous experience building Epic functionality and creating Epic reports.
• Previous experience with data warehouse such as Dimensional Insight.
