About the role

As a RN Care Coordinator, you will be a central figure in patient care, seamlessly navigating the healthcare journey to achieve optimal outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. Every day, you will strategically assess, plan, and facilitate comprehensive care across the continuum, expertly advocating for patients while collaborating with physicians, nursing, departments, insurers, and post-acute providers to ensure timely, high-quality transitions. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical acumen, exceptional communication and advocacy skills, and a strategic mindset, all driven by a passion for optimizing patient care across every touchpoint. Performs all duties and responsibilities inherent to Registered Nurse and Charge Nurse as required. CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, part of CommonSpirit Heath, a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care, assisted and residential living communities, community health services organizations, home health agencies, and numerous outpatient facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the unit schedule based on productivity (short-term & long-term basis)
• Assists director with department charge reconciliation.
• Completes investigation of incidents on the unit including assisting director with education and coaching PRN.
• Monitors performance and quality improvement projects on the unit.
• Provides staff with real time feedback PRN.
• Assists with payroll functions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• 1 year of experience at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson
• Registered Nurse license in North Dakota (upon hire)
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification (upon hire)
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (within 12 months)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (upon hire)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (upon hire)

Qualifications

• Charge Nurse experience (preferred)
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (preferred, upon hire)

Pay

$32.46 – $48.28 per hour
