Coordinator Respiratory Therapy

About the Role

Coordinates the daily Respiratory Care department’s clinical operations. Assists with oversight of daily spending and adherence to monthly budget projections. Takes part in employee performance evaluations, staff training, quality assurance, outcome measurements, and assures that adequate levels and competency of staff are maintained. Assists with compliance concerning all regulatory and credentialing agencies. Assists with new employee orientation, computer training, and competencies. Also assists with the evaluation of new equipment, set-up, and in-services.

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
• Neonatal Resuscitation (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP) license
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree
• 5 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
