About the role
The Quality Reporting Programs (QRP) Coordinator at Adena Health serves as a key member of the Infection Prevention and Quality Reporting Programs team. This position reports to and assists the Director of Infection Prevention and Quality Reporting Programs to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for applicable programs such as CMS, TJC, and others.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for applicable programs (CMS, TJC, etc.)
- Provide oversight of all duties associated with the abstraction of clinical quality data for public (and other) reporting requirements for all Adena hospital locations
- Support quality activities according to service line, certification and regulatory requirements and initiatives
- Develop and maintain internal quality data dashboards, provide analytical support, and report trends and opportunities for improvement to Quality leadership, stakeholders, teams, and committees
- Ensure that new standards and changes to measure sets are monitored, and that key stakeholders are educated on measure specifications
- Serve as the liaison between outsourced abstraction services and platforms
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, or MSN preferred; Active RN licensure and CPHQ certification within 2 years of hire date
- Experience: 5 years recent clinical/hospital experience; Preferred: EPIC navigation and chart review, Smart sheet, Excel, PowerPoint, WebEx

- Effective interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with professional and hospital staff on clinical quality measure performance
- The ability to educate leadership as well as frontline caregivers on topics related to clinical quality measures and performance is essential
- Defines and measures quality processes and identifies variation from accepted standards of practice to include patterns and trends
- Leverage Adena’s analytic environment to help guide data-driven decision-making and inform quality improvement initiatives
- Direct activities that support compliance with voluntary, mandatory and contractual reporting requirements for data acquisition, analysis, reporting and improvement
