About the role
Serves as the primary Quality support staff that coordinates the medical staff peer review process supporting physician reappointment, advancement, and clinical quality in compliance with the Joint Commission Ongoing Physician Performance Evaluation (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) standards. Provides operational support for the Peer Review Committees to facilitate their function in identifying and tracking clinical performance issues in a manner that promotes education, improvement, and patient safety. Participation in the analysis of events that require peer review and examination of medical records as identified by clinical indicators are an integral part of this role. Supports the Quality department team in the preparation, coordination, and response to accreditation and regulatory agency surveys or visits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Essential)
- Three years of related experience (Essential)
- Registered Nurse license (Essential)
