About the role

The Coordinator, Production Marketing Operations, NBC Sports supports team operational and production initiatives with a focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness across workflows and cross-functional collaboration. This role provides operational support to Creative Project Managers through organizational tasks and asset management, reporting to the Director of NBC Sports Marketing Production.

Responsibilities

  • Support and implement consistent processes and best practices across marketing disciplines
  • Become an expert and champion tools and systems (Slack, Airtable, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Box, Frame.io, Monotype, stock footage/image libraries, etc.)
  • Drive improvements to production processes and simplify complex workflows
  • Coordinate creative capabilities presentations with vendors/agencies and the Sports Marketing Content team
  • Support the Director in end-to-end awards submissions, including tracking deadlines, gathering documentation, delivery specs, and final submission
  • Act as an admin for stock libraries, monitoring asset downloads (e.g., Getty, AP) to ensure accurate yearly allotment tracking
  • Maintain graphics asset storage on servers and in Box in coordination with Media Management teams
  • Engage with Engineering to source and manage equipment needs for the design team
  • Review invoices for accuracy, assign coding, and obtain approvals prior to payment processing
  • Support the Project Management team with administrative duties (e.g., Airtable entries, asset approvals between stakeholders)
  • Manage special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years’ experience in operations, product management, production, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and ability to apply the right method for each task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to all organizational levels

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience at a broadcast network, streaming service, media agency, or production company
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm, high motivation, and reliability
  • Strong communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and a collaborative attitude
  • Experience with Airtable or similar systems
  • Strong political acumen to influence teams and individuals effectively
  • Highly collaborative, building mutually beneficial relationships with delivery teams
  • Comfortable with uncertainty but driven to establish order and structure

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid schedule requiring in-office work in Stamford, CT a minimum of four days per week (subject to change)
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be willing to travel

Pay

Salary range: $55,000 - $58,000.
