About the Role

The NHL is committed to creating compelling digital experiences that bring the excitement of hockey to fans globally while supporting and empowering its 32 member Clubs. This role focuses on supporting Clubs and NHL Product Production & Operations, reporting directly to the Product Ops Manager, Digital Platforms. The team’s portfolio includes digital products such as the NHL App, NHL.com, NHL.TV, streaming and connected device apps, plus support for all 32 Club.com sites and other digital properties.

The ideal candidate will juggle priorities in real-time, build relationships, guide producers on best practices, and provide first-line production and operations support to deliver success for the business, fans, and team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hockey enthusiast to impact how digital platforms present games, teams, and players to fans, deepening the relationship between the NHL and its global fanbase.

Responsibilities

  • Provide gamenight support for league and club escalations.
  • Maintain document control, logs, and task assignment lists.
  • Execute troubleshooting steps for reported issues and escalate to appropriate channels when needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Clubs to support their use of tools for site production and digital platform operations.
  • Collaborate with internal groups (e.g., content, marketing, sales, production) to execute projects and digital commitments.
  • Build and update pages, hubs, and sites in Forge, REACT PB, and other content management tools as time allows.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of hockey, including its history, rules, and culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Content Management Systems to produce sites and operate platforms.
  • Experience with Deltatre’s Forge and Page Builder.
  • Experience working in a remote environment and communicating clearly with colleagues.
  • Experience with live streaming and VOD operations.

Pay

Salary range: $30–$35/hour. Actual base pay will be determined based on experience, training, market demands, and geographic location.
