About the Role
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Special Education, the Coordinator of Special Education coordinates District Special Education Services to students and parents in alignment with State and federal mandates. This role provides leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all Special Education programs serving District students. The Coordinator assists the Director of Special Education in developing and maintaining quality special education programs and services throughout the Coachella Valley Unified School District.
Requirements
- At least three (3) years of demonstrated successful experience in the field of public education, part of which must have been as a classroom teacher.
- Bachelor of Arts/Science and Master’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning; official transcripts required.
- Possession of valid California Teaching and Administrative Services Credentials.

Pay
Monthly salary range: $12,038.00 - $15,138.
Schedule
12 months per year, 8 hours per day. Full-time employment.
