About the Role

The Coordinator of Child Welfare provides support and direction to schools in the areas of student welfare services, alternative solutions for discipline related problems, areas which have liability and legal ramifications, and instructional programs for alternative education. This position will plan and coordinate the organization and implementation of pupil personnel services related to pupil welfare and student assistance programs for the District.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's Degree, Administrative Credential, and Valid California Teaching Credential.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of demonstrated successful teaching experience.
  • Written and oral fluency preferred in English and Spanish.
  • Department of Homeland Security I-9 Form completion.
  • TB Test Clearance.
  • Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
  • Must possess a valid California Driver's License during the course of employment.
  • Must be insurable at standard rates and maintain insurability during the course of employment.

Compensation

Pay Range: $12,036 - $15,138 Monthly (R28 of the Certificated Management Schedule).

Schedule

12 Months/8hrs - 247 Days, Full Time.
