Coordinator of Behavior Services (BCBA) - Adult Program

About the role

The Coordinator of Behavior Services (BCBA) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of behavior analytic interventions in the adult program. This role requires a deep understanding of applied behavior analysis and the ability to lead a team of behavior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of individualized behavior plans for clients.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies.
• Train and supervise behavior technicians in the delivery of evidence-based practices.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from an accredited institution.
• A BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• At least 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience in leading and supervising a team of behavior technicians.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and interpret results.
• Experience with data collection and analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with data management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
