Coordinator of Behavior Services (BCBA) - Adult Program
About the role
The Coordinator of Behavior Services (BCBA) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of behavior analytic interventions in the adult program. This role requires a deep understanding of applied behavior analysis and the ability to lead a team of behavior technicians.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized behavior plans for clients.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians in the delivery of evidence-based practices.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from an accredited institution.
- A BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- At least 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience in leading and supervising a team of behavior technicians.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
- Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and interpret results.
- Experience with data collection and analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
