About the role

The Coordinator, Network Engagement and Support plays a key role in fostering relationships with Trans Canada Trail’s vast network of partners, stakeholders, and trail users. This position supports the engagement, coordination, and growth of the national trail network through outreach, communication, and resource-sharing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with trail partners, stakeholders, and volunteers across Canada.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives, including events, webinars, and workshops to support trail development and promotion.
• Provide support and resources to trail groups, ensuring they have the tools needed for success.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of communication materials, including newsletters, social media content, and reports.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries from trail partners and the public, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align network engagement efforts with organizational goals.
• Track and report on engagement metrics and feedback to inform future strategies.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, community development, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in stakeholder engagement, community outreach, or a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English; bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Experience with event planning, social media management, or content creation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools.
• Passion for outdoor recreation, trails, and community-building.
