Responsibilities
- Function in a demanding environment by navigating multiple projects simultaneously and effectively supporting a busy Medical Staff Office.
- Responsible for assigned Medical Staff Departments as assigned by Director/Manager.
- Facilitate all aspects of credentialing, including applications, reappointments, proctoring and competencies.
- Facilitate all aspects of payer/health plan provider enrollment, including timely and accurate processing of payer enrollment applications and submissions, provider roster maintenance, provider directory validation and annual/semi-annual report submissions, and creating and maintaining CAQH practitioner profiles.
- Interface with physicians and medical group management staff in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements
- Associates degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
- Certified Provider Enrollment Specialist (CPES) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years technical/administrative experience, Medical Staff Services Department, Credentialing/Contracting and/or acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Strong computer, communication, and writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of practitioner enrollment terminology and documents required for enrollment, medical terminology and medical staff services and/or acute care hospital experience preferred.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.00 to $28.25 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
