About the role
Resting at 7,000 feet and surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, the scenic city of Flagstaff remains an important distribution site for large manufacturers like Nestlé Purina. Just a stone's throw from downtown, where the city's culture comes to life, we get to experience the best of both worlds: the city and the mountains. Annually, the Nestlé Purina team in Flagstaff proudly mass manufactures 280,000 tons of dry pet food from our Dog Chow®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Alpo®, and Pro Plan® brands. Our factory is also proud to do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.
As a Manufacturing Production Coordinator, you will work closely with the manufacturing and material handling teams within the factory to support the collection, entry and reporting of manufacturing and inventory management functions. Your work will directly impact operations planning, costing, and production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Record and track all production activities within the manufacturing systems.
- Perform master data maintenance including entry and validation of materials requirements and production planning metrics.
- Reconcile materials usage transactions and resolve variances.
- Perform inventory management functions such as cycle counts, variance analysis and balance reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams such as production, operations, quality and accounting.
- Make data-driven recommendations for improvements to accounting and production processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years’ experience with materials, accounting, inventory or production systems in a manufacturing, military or related environment.
Pay
The approximate annual salary for this position is $42,000 - $58,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
