Coordinator/Key Carrier

About the Role

The Key Carrier role is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role, where you alternate responsibilities based on store needs—primarily performing as a Coordinator and occasionally stepping into a leadership role to maintain all aspects of the store.

Responsibilities

• Role models exceptional customer service and creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures the store team performs tasks in accordance with the store plan and prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates.
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures, including opening/closing guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with management and Associates to set and address priorities, providing progress updates.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs, as well as shrink reduction goals and safety awareness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends (open availability required).
• Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
• Understanding of merchandise flow in stores.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple people/tasks.
• Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
• Capable of multitasking with superior communication and organizational skills, including attention to detail.
• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of $14.50 to $15.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
